The Canadian Red Cross (CRC) is soliciting information from industry so that it may select a service provider for the final evaluation and endline survey on it's project for Improving Maternal, Newborn and Child Survival Program in former Warrap State, Gogrial, South Sudan.
The purpose of the final evaluation and endline survey is to:
- measure progress and achievements in terms of the included evaluation criteria
- inform future programming and help understand factors to address in order to have meaningful changes to MNCH-specific and gender related outcome indicators.
- inform about current strategies in implementation, best practices and lessons learned
- complete outcome indicator values in the performance measurement framework
- learn from concrete components of the program, i.e. in health interventions in Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) in the South Sudan context, look at the value-added of a mobile health team and the value of construction elements (pharma warehouse, Kuajok compound, boreholes, etc.).
- inform the final report in the areas of a) relevance and importance, b) appropriateness of design, c) sustainability, d) partnership, e) innovation, f) value-for-money, and g) informed and timely action. extract actionable recommendations from the experience working in South Sudan as it pertains to work in fragile and volatile states.
- document and learn from monitoring and evaluation practices in fragile contexts
